Description

The Coping Cue Cards card decks have tons of coping strategies, which can be used at school, at home or on the go. These decks bring order to the mountain of ideas that work for kids. With individual kids or a small group, use the decks to help identify which skills work for them, and/or find new skills to expand their strategies. A child could have a few cards in their desk as a visual reminder of strategies they can use. The Processing Deck has 44 coping skills cards to help kids explore their thoughts and feelings. Please note: kids may need more support from a trusted adult to fully benefit from these skills. Not all coping skills work in all places. To make it easier, cheerful divider cards help sort skills by different settings like when travelling, at school, at social events, and in stores and restaurants. There are so many ways to use the Processing Deck: to help kids identify which coping skills they already use and love, as a visual reminder to use a coping skill, or as a way to find new coping skills to expand their toolbox.
